The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst will define and document customer business functions, processes and business requirements as well as oversee project plans, implementations and track the project deliverables. JOB FUNCTIONS: Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management, create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project, determines the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project, and develops a timeline for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities. Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project. Lead, manage and mentor project managers. Establish project management best practices across the organization. Establishes and communicates individual and team performance to assigned project teams and direct reports. Responsible for the appropriate resourcing, project execution, training and fiscal oversight for their assigned projects and/or program. Provides guidance and oversight to the PMs assigned to their projects/program in order to ensure adherence to project scope, SOPs, timelines, and budget requirements. Act as a liaison between department end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other departments in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of system implementations. Analyze the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users. Track and fully documents changes for functional and business specifications; write detailed universally understood standard operating procedures for permanent records and for use in training. Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures. Requeriments: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance or Business required. Minimum of eight to ten years of combined experience as an IT project manager and/or business analyst. One to two years of direct people management experience preferred. Proven knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, project management techniques and tools including Microsoft Project required. Demonstrated experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development required. Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language. Exceptional analytical and statistical skills with the ability to apply them to systems issues and products as required. Proven experience with change management and ability to work in rapidly changing environment which is often time sensitive and deadline driven. Broad technical background and experience with applications/systems and technical infrastructure. Ability to coach and mentor direct reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. PMP preferred, but not required. Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.
