• Preferable app servers: WebSphere / JBoss / Tomcat • Experience in Agile • DevOps tools/frameworks such as Git, Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker is an advantage• Hands on experience on Database SQL/ PLSQL, Oracle or DB2. • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Java application development • Strong java developer with proficiency in 1.8, spring, and REST webservices • Design, develop and deploy Java applications in a Micro-services environment • Good hands-on unit/functional testing such as Junit, Mockito, TestNG , ReadyAPI. • Hands on experience in RESTful API design and development with XML/JSON • Experience in containerized based web application development like Docker • Experience in messaging system using tools like Kafka • Knowledge on application metric and dashboard tools/frameworks like Prometheus / Grafana. • Knowledge of modern authentication / authorization like OAuth / JSON web token• Hands-on experience in builds and pipeline tools like gradle , GIT • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements • Knowledge on code versioning tools like GIT , RTC • Ability to learn/adapt to new technologies and own the deliverables. • Ability to works with cross-function team, using agile practices, writes, debugs and delivers code
